Do I need prior knowledge or experience to join?

No. While having prior knowledge is helpful, the course is designed for a beginner to be fully competent and confident in Scrum methodology & practices. In addition, this is a super hands-on course to also simulate what the day to day would be like. The workshop has theory plus application of the theory in a dense, articulate manner.

Who should attend this bootcamp?

Whether you are already a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Product Owner or Team Member or simply someone who wants the answer to the question “how do I run an Agile Scrum project in the real world", this is definitely a workshop for you. That being said, we still go over the foundations for entry level people that are breaking into tech and need to understand Agile & Scrum. Anyone that wants to become a Scrum Master in a tech company is welcomed.

To be an effective Scrum Master, do I need to have certifications?

Yes. In order to be an official Scrum Master recognized in the industry, you need to obtain an accredited Scrum Master's Certification. There are many accredited courses that we recommend in the workshop to guide you on the journey. This course does not provide a certificate. However, the material covered is sufficient to sit for the exam with Scrum.org. This workshop will provide real industry application and knowledge to perform in an effective Scrum Master role, so that you don't struggle initially.

Is this all the training I need to be a Scrum Master?

In How To Scrum, we believe that learning never stops. Though our workshop provides a solid foundation and practical tips to perform with confidence, true mastery comes from your own experience. That is why we create content to share and keep honing our craft. Our intention with this workshop is to super charge your learning with our experience so that you can become amazing on the day.
